Should More Be Done?

As a result of the Newtown, Conneticut shootings many in our country are demanding a new conversation on gun violence.  Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York  City has long advocated some common sense changes to our current laws and the system by which the current laws are enforced to make them more effective.   USA Today published an opinion piece today by Mayor Bloomberg.

Mayor Bloomberg Editorial

And a second article by USA TODAY with data on mass killings in the United States.  “Mass Killings Occur in USA once every two weeks.”

We can all agree that the response to this incident should be well thought out and carefully considered. Our communities deserve no less.
