FANS ADVISED TO ARRIVE EARLY TO THE PALACE

NCAA Men’s Basketball TOURNAMENT

With 20,000-plus college basketball fans attending the second and third rounds
of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament at The Palace of Auburn Hills
Thursday, March 21 and Saturday, March 23, regional co-hosts from Oakland University
and The Palace are advising fans to plan ahead, arrive early and to use
alternative routes to the arena.

The Palace parking lot will open at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Officials are directing fans
to the ”Hassle Free” Exit 83 at Joslyn Road as an alternative route,
in addition to taking Exit 81 at Lapeer Road. Signage directs fans to The Palace from
each exit. Fans are also advised to use both North Drive and South Drive entrances
to help alleviate heavy traffic entering from Lapeer Road.

Fans attending both sessions on Thursday can pay for parking once if they do not depart the
venue parking lot. Fans who do decide to leave the grounds
allowing the first session will have to pay to park again when returning for the second session.
Parking is $10 per car, $20 per limo and $40 per bus or RV.
